Asset Protection Of Bank Accounts - It's Not All About The Signature Card

A Florida bankruptcy judge has ruled that the subsequent actions of a couple might change the nature of the bank account that they estatblished and thereby destroy the protected quality of that account.  It is no longer just a matter of the signature card.

For more information on this new ruling about joint bank accounts between husband and wife, click here.

This points out the need to not only title your assets correctly for estate planning and asset protectio purposes, but to understand the theory behind the protections you seek so that you can maintain the tax planning or asset protections that you are looking for.
